Samsung has updated the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 version of WatchON, a service for controlling home theatres with one’s phone.
The new app, dubbed WatchON Plus, mirrors the interface that debuted for the Galaxy S5. Current GS4 and Note 3 users of WatchON will have to download the new, separate app to get the updated interface.
WatchON uses Peel’s extensive database of home theatre equipment to create actions, such as turning on multiple devices or automatically recording a favourite show. The new app offers a visual refresh that is more in line with Samsung’s TouchWIZ overhaul that debuted on the Galaxy S5.
