Available for iOS and Android, the CBC World Cup app offers live streaming of every game, including the finals, making it the app of choice when there’s nary a flat screen to be found.

Can’t watch the game but want to stay up to date on the latest World Cup information? Popular sports news service, theScore, has added a World Cup section to its app, providing real-time push alerts for score updates and news. The app also features individual player alerts, allowing you to be notified when a player is substituted, receives a yellow or red card, scores, or makes the assist.
Google Now
Heavy Google Now users will be happy to know that the app has been updated on iOS and Android to provide World Cup focused cards, and push updates for teams you elect to follow.
