Here we go again.
Flappy Bird, the game that was pulled by its creator for being too addictive, is coming back. Dong Nguyen confirmed this back in March but took to CNBC today to officially say the game has a new focus and will hit the App Store this August. Nguyen stated the new Flappy Birds be less addictive and have a multi-player option. Surely it’ll keep the same 8-bit style that made the game so popular.
Nguyen also noted that he plans to release other games in the future, one specifically that has “some guy jumping from building to building.” Sounds like a mix of Temple Run and Subway Surfers.
