For those interested in keeping track, Apple has updated their pie chart that shows 83% of devices are using iOS 7. This stat is based on the number of users visiting the App Store and was dated March 9th. In addition, 14% of users who visit the App Store are still on iOS 6, while 3% are rocking older versions of iOS.
When Apple made the ‘completely redesigned’ iOS 7 available last September, CEO Tim Cook said 64% of all iOS devices downloaded the new OS and was declared as “the fastest software upgrade in history.”
Apple released iOS 7.1 a couple days and brought a number of notable bug fixes and aesthetic features.
According to research company, Chitika, iOS 7.1 was already installed on 6% of devices in the first 24 hours of availability.
