Sony starts rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to the Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra

While Sony has committed to bring Android 4.4 KitKat to many devices in the coming months, a blog post today indicated that some flagships will see an update to 4.3 Jelly Bean. Sony states that “the next Sony software rollout for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra starts right about now.*”

No word yet on when this 4.3 software will arrive on Canadian soil — the Z1 is available at Rogers, TELUS and Bell, while the Ultra is a Bell exclusive.

Well that too, but there was a firmware release (.2.257) that updated the camera algorithm to supposedly improve low-light image quality.
