GTA San Andreas now available on iOS and Android

As expected, Rockstar Games has released on one of its three promised mobile platforms devices today the third and arguably best GTA title of the PS2 era . The iOS version, which is compatible with iPhone 4S and above, iPad 3 and above and iPod touch 5th gen and above, is selling for $6.99, which has become the standard rate for Rockstar’s mobile titles.

New in this version for iOS 7 users is controller support, which should make awkward touchscreen buttons a thing of the past; Logitech, Razer, MOGA and others are either already selling iPhone controllers, or will be in the next few months.

The Android and Windows Phone versions, according to Rockstar, will be arriving this time next week, likely for the same price. Don’t be too jealous, though: you still have Angry Birds Go.

Update: Rockstar Games has made GTA: San Andreas available on Android for $6.99. No word on the Windows Phone version, but Android users, go forth!
