As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S III and S4 mini are now available in Canada across several carriers. Both of these are excellent entry-level Android devices and the design highly resembles its larger flagships.
The GS III comes in blue and is priced at $300 outright or $0 on a 2-year. Specs are basic with a 4-inch display (480 x 800), 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera with a 2MP front-facing camera, LTE-enabled and a 2000 mAh battery.
As for the GS4 mini, which comes in black and white, is available for similar pricing at $400 outright, or $0 on a 2-year. For what is considered a ‘Lite’ device, the GS4 has a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 960×540, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera with a 1.9MP front-facing camera, 16 GB internal memory, 1900 mAh battery, Android OS 4.2 Jelly Bean.
