At the 59-minute mark of Samsung’s Unpacked event yesterday they were talking up the new features of the refreshed Note 10.1 and revealed that Twitter is on the cusp of releasing a new Android app for tablets.
While the official Twitter app is currently optimized for smartphones, “the redesigned Twitter app” would see it stretch to take full advantage of the display real estate. The picture above shows your list of followers and conversations on a two-frame structure, plus the ability to discover and edit your own profile. No word on when the new Twitter app for Android tablets will be available.
