Samsung left no stone unturned during yesterday’s comprehensive and genre-bending launch of its new Galaxy and ATIV products.
Among the stars of the show were the awesome-looking ATIV Q slider/laptop/tablet monstrosity, the cool-but-complicated Galaxy NX, and the terribly-named ATIV Book 9 Plus, but the Korean giant didn’t leave out its smartphone fans.
Not only were the Galaxy S4 Active, Zoom and mini shown off in public for the first time, but good old boy Galaxy S4 received four new colours: Blue Arctic, Purple Mirage, Red Aurora, Brown Autumn and Pink Twilight. Only two of the five colours would find a spot in my pocket, but Samsung’s never one to shy away from trying to appeal to everyone.
No word on whether these colours are coming to Canada, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see one or two of them show up on store shelves to differentiate. How ’bout Blue Arctic for Bell and Red Aurora for Rogers? Shame there’s no Goblin Green for TELUS, but maybe towards Halloween…
