BlackBerry Q10 now available at Videotron

blackberryq10review-6
Fresh off the news of a pretty solid plan – $60GB/month data and unlimited calling and texts – is the release of the BlackBerry Q10 by Videotron. While the QWERTY/Touch BlackBerry 10 smartphone was originally launched back in the first week of May, Videotron has come to market and priced this at $179.99 on a “Reduced price” and set the no-term tag at $629.95.

A refresher of specs, the Q10 has a full QWERTY keyboard, 3.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 720, 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 8MP camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, sans LTE but has ’4G connectivity.’

$629.95 for a screen thats 3.1 I think that if the phone was a 5 inch screen then it would be a great price.

What an ignorant comment. The Q10 targets people who need a physical keyboard, they could care less what the screen size is.

    • Doobie

It’s still not worth anywhere near 700 with its 2 year old hardware and screen tech.

    • Manic Devlin

Phone is faster and more efficient than most quad core android phones out there, I know because I use to have a Nexus 4. 2gb ram is old? Not to mention the iphone 5 is also dual core yet half the ram but I don’t see anyone complaining about its price.

    • Ken

Well Manic Devlin I don’t know what’s so ignorant about my comment and as for the the people who need a physical keyboard great if thats what they want to pay the big bucks for just that 1 item. Insane on that one point but if i decide i want to pay the big bucks I want a few more goodies to go with it and a large screen to me is a nice option. At my age my next phone will probably have a seeing eye dog thrown in with the sale. How’s this post for ignorance.

Then get the z10, why complain about a product that doesn’t fit your need. Do you go around and complain on every phone that comes out, even though you never intend to buy? Should I complain that a formula 1 car is not a family car and has no navigation?

    • Ken

Well Manic Devlin for myself I just purchased a Xperia ZL and it does everything but climb walls and does satisfy my needs at the cost of $750.00 with tax and sim card. You do have to admit that we do fun with all this prattle at least I do. Have a good day lad.

Dude, stop shilling for crapberry already. He said he wants a device to do stuff with, not an expensive do nothing phone. Whether he chooses iOS or android he’ll get far more bang for the buck than with an overpriced crapberry.

    • Manic Devlin

Overpriced? The materials used on q10 are higher quality than most android phones. And what one needs to do with a phone is entirely subjective to ones needs. So maybe you should calm down from your hate mongering and realize there is a phone for everyone.

    • Shutup

S.H.I.L.L. It still doesn’t change the fact that the crapberry is still overpriced for its internals or its abilities. Hell, even some enterprise features that they were known for are now nonexistent and/or done better elsewhere nowadays. You need to get out more (from under Heins’s desk, that is).

    • Manic Devlin

I’m not the one who made an anonymous account just to bash blackberry. Try again troll.

    • Shutup

S.H.I.L.L. I didn’t come here to bash crapberry, I came here to bash rabid fanbois and RIM employees that pollute this board. On this case I only had to state common sense stuff for you to get your feathers all in a knot. BooHoo.

    • Manic Devlin

Are you a robot? What’s with the circular logic repeating same nonsense over and over even though it has already been refuted.

    • Shutup

S.H.I.L.L. You may want to re-read the comments from the beginning b4 spouting even more nonsense.

  • phatboy66

This phone is really nice but too expensive right now
