The Pure Android Google LG Nexus 4 has received a slight design change. This news was first noticed by German site Mobiflip, then confirmed by Android Central. The biggest change to the design is a couple small bumps on the back by the device, which some are calling nubbins. This will slightly lift up the Nexus 4 and reduce the number of scratches to the back glass, plus increase the output sound as this is where the speaker is located.
In addition, the ring around the camera lens has been modified, now smaller. There’s no specific reason on why this was changed. Possibly just aesthetics. Those who now purchase a Nexus 4 from Google Play will receive this new updated version.
