Here’s the good news for Mobilicity customer. The ‘smarter’ Canadian wireless company have released an Android app that allows you to check your account and account balance, locate Mobilicity stores, plus pay your monthly bill by either Visa, MasterCard or American Express. All those features are incredibly convenient.
However, “Everything Mobilicity does adds up to a better wireless experience, not an expensive one.” Not true in this case as the customer will be charged a $1 “convenience fee” to pay their bill via the app. Mobilicity partnered up with TIO Networks and as their payment processor – which is where the buck is heading. Not the hugest expense as it’s $12/year, but this cost really should be absorbed by Mobilicity or TIO, not the customer. Now that’s Smart.
