LTE has found its way up to North Bay, Ontario. We’ve been receiving tips over the past couple days that users on Bell, Virgin, TELUS and Koodo have noticed LTE arrive on their device. All four carriers coverage maps have not been updated with the new LTE coverage area… so this could simply mean that testing is underway . The average LTE speeds that users are reporting is between 15Mbps to 35Mbps download and around 11Mbps upload.

For those in North Bay and have an LTE capable device check to see if these speeds are available to you. We’ll update you with more info shortly.

(Thanks Dave, Zack, Andrew!)
