Virgin Mobile recently added the entry-level Windows Phone HTC 8S to their lineup, but those wanting a bit more power might be interested in the 8X. We’ve been informed that the Windows Phone 8X will be making its way to Virgin Mobile in the coming days. No word yet on pricing or the exact launch date, however, accessories have started to arrive in-store.

The 8X is an LTE-enabled device that sports a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 16GB internal storage, 8MP camera and a 2MP front-camera, Beats Audio and is 10.2mm. Check out our HTC 8X review here.

We’ll have more info soon…
(Thanks tipster!)

Hope Videotron will get it too.

No one wants Windows. And didn’t HTC go out of business? Guess they need a few more quarters of Samsung destroying them to actually lay down and die.

Not so much related but… What happened with the “Win a Windows Phone 8X by HTC! (Contest)” ??

Ron Mexico you sound like a 12 year old girl on her first period every time you comment on this site. You have very little knowledge about the mobile industry and how it works. It might be better for everyone on this site and for you if you move to BGR or something. You would fit in nicely with BGR

The Windows8 OS has been a bust for both mobile and computers , microsoft needs to do a little more work because its not working

Can we PLEASE get this to WIND? I really want a high-end Windows Phone on the right carrier.

    • Sgt.Romanov

On a lousy network , WIND needs to do alot of work because customers are jumping like rats from a sinking ship

Look up which WP8s have AWS support (maybe the Lumia 920?) and import one off contract.

I’d like to see their price, as the HTC Surround that I have is dying.

I think a manager/rep accidentally ordered 8X cases, as we can order all Bell accessories.. Don’t bank on Virgin getting this phone.

I hope this means BCE will fix the Mobile TV application for Windows Phone 8 users.
