Rogers has opened up online reservation system for the recently announced BlackBerry Q10. This smartphone is the little BlackBerry 10 beast that has the QWERTY keyboard and 3.2-inch touchscreen display. All you need to do is hand over all your contact information – no need this time around for a $40 deposit.

The Q10 is rumoured to be launching in Canada mid-March, but BlackBerry only stated that we’ll see it hit stores “this Spring.”

    in 4 one.

    • JUST SAYING

      Dead on arrival

    • JUST SAYING

you know why is dead on arrival? because the have 70,000 apps only

Android and ios have 700,000 each

    • WP74Life

Maybe for you fart apps and Repetitive chinese wallpapers apps are important but for somebody that actually use his cellphone for work it is not.

    • JUST SAYING

COOL 620,000 APPS IS A FART??????

I love how you guys support BB10 just for a stupid ideas in your mind!!!!!!!!!!!

    • RIM Stock

      Dead on Arrival indeed!
at $550 on prepaid at Koodo the phone is a joke!

And this is precisely why the RIM stock has dropped from $16 to hug $12 after the launch.

RIM has lost more than one BILLION dollars in Market cap in two days.

If they don’t drop the price by release to $399 BB won’t make it.

  • wotzit2ya

Delivery : One day , this spring , when it’s sunny , possibly ,maybe .

  • Password is Taco

Another failure from BlackBerry. How can they delay the Q10 when the majority of their users prefer a keyboard? They basically said here’s a phone that you might have wanted but still can’t have it for a few months.

Delays, delays, delays. The BlackBerry way.

  • gRIM Reaper

Like its going to matter by Spring!

  • skazzberry 2.0

BLAH BLAH BLAH RIP BB! Let’s all buy them and buy nice belt clips to show how cool we are to the public! Also don’t forget our pocket protectors for our shirts.

I have just depicted the average user of a Blackberry.

  • Happyboy

I find it very interesting that people would compare BlackBerries 70,000 apps to androids 7 million fort apps

  • Rim guy

I like how mobile syrup keeps censoring any comments that point out blackberry shortcomings with this launch. I wonder how much they are getting paid to further this agenda.

  • nexus 4 life

just got back from there launch event. it was nice free boos. i honestly gotta say the z10 is absolutely terrible. the douche bag tries so hard to hype up features i have seen since 2010. the phone steals so many outer elements from the iphone its not even funny. it was very laggy and buggy. the Q10 seems much better built and more thought went into it. the android apps are also gingerbread looking. not trying to bash rim but the z10 is massively overpriced. i will applaud them for event flo rida performed and they gave away phones which seemed rigged cause groups of friends were winning z10. some packy git got arrested for trying to steal 3 z10. that was amusing. all in all great launch event. i recommend waiting till spring for the Q10. Full touch is not rimss forte.

    • JoeScratch

This exact comment has been on every BB10 article on Mobile Syrup. Looks like it was copy and pasted. Its been voted down in every article too. I guess the trolls are out in full force.

  • my own mind

They wouldn’t censor the comments if r****d fanboys didn’t bash everything that comes out. It’s because of them that they should be harsher on the censorship.

  • nrj4life

“Launch” is the key word in all of this, people. That number will increase over time but to have that number on launch is a good start. Did Android and iOS launch with 700,000 apps? 70,000 apps?

    • tony

BlackBerry 10 – It is not what you “h-App”, but who you are that counts.

Micro Kernel – Every app runs in a reloadable isolated process; fast and efficient.
Match made in heaven for multi-core processors.
Compliance – can integrate with other plateform (Portable Operating System for Unix).

You have your nice car? >> it fits in my garage.
You have more money? >> my account gives the best interest rate.
You have more friends? >> All your friends, all; like and want to be my friend.

I’m confident and SECURE, and people know this. I’ve searched the web, and have seen your flaw.

  • screamer

Oh well sad to say but that’s it blackberry. I know some fan boys will buy it but that is not enough. I can see the q10 will sell very well but z10 looks like any other phone and does not bring the wild thing to the table and for this price people want to see something wow. Didn’t happened so rip blackberry I loved you once and miss the old time but when it’s over it is over.

  • BOKU

    Sorry BB
You arrived to the party way too late…

  • everydayguy

what a sad life people must lead that they cry that there are only 70,000 apps as opposed to 700,000 little words of advice get a life it is a phone

    • JUST SAYING

buy Nokia 3310 you don’t need any app don’t buy a SMART phone

  • everydayguy

“justsaying” open the window in your mommies basement and see that there is a real world out there where people actually work and need a phone for such , if you wanna play games keep playing your ps3 or xbox

    • JUST SAYING

      will do!!!

Good luck with the new technology of BB10, BB10 fan boy even worse than iSheeps, the problem is what we will call BB10 fan boy!!!!

  • JUST SAYING

RIM dont learn from the market they should look at what LG did with the Nexus 4 $359 no contract and you RIM is selling BB10 for $650

RIM is dead that is why they changed the name to Blackberry because they don’t want to say we are dead, and the CEO yesterday says sorry for all people that we laid off!!!!

    • sp

your comments are m00t again JUST SAYING

comparing a phone subsidized by Google to one that isnt.

N4 off contract NOT from the Playstore $550-$600.

      stop comparing such incomparable devices.

go back to your N4 and its 8gig/16gig capacity, none native LTE, no usb debugging, non removable battery etc etc etc….

      m00t point from a troll

    • JUST SAYING

      PEOPLE ARE VERY STUPID

RIM’s CEO, made the BB10 just to survive and his management as well he don’t care about the tech or Canada

the most important thing is he get one million dollar a year.

@sp FYI I don’t have a nexus 4, but the nexus 4 is a successfully device that RIM should learn from

  • Tomatoes11

    RIP Rogers!

  • Teflon

I can’t believe people would actually give up half your screen for a physical keyboard. The touch screen takes some getting use to but after using it for a while you won’t want to go back to the physical keyboard. If blackberry wants to stay in the game, there bread and butter will be in the Z 10 not the Q 10. Sorry all you old school BB supporters.

  • BlackBerryQ10

I’ll be getting the Blackberry Q10 on launch day for sure. I love having a physical keyboard and the Blackberry 10 OS looks awesome. Great job Blackberry!
