Google has officially announced the dates of their annual Google I/O developer conference: May 15-17, 2013 in San Francisco (a month earlier than last year). This is when Google usually unveils and demos new products, but more importantly they also show off a new version of Android, potentially OS 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

On Google+ Google noted that “It might only be December, but Google I/O 2013 is set and is just 162 days away! We’ll be returning to Moscone Center West in San Francisco on May 15-17, 2013, and sharing the experience beyond via Google Developers Live and I/O Extended viewing parties. We’ll announce registration details in February 2013.”

Keep your eye out for the registration date as this event usually sells out within minutes. Google I/O 212 sold out in under 20 minutes. 2013 should be no different.

Why everything not yearly anymore? At this rate we’ll have a new flagship product every 3 to 4 months instead of 10-12 months.

I’m still waiting for the Jelly Bean update and now there working on another system thats, like having your head up your back end and asking where the sunshine is. Get everyone updated on Jelly Bean then move ahead. Insane.
