We missed this when it launched last week, but better late than never, right? The Weather Network has launched its first app for Windows Phone, and it’s pretty darn nice.
The Windows Phone app has a feature called ‘Follow Me’ which will track your current location using A-GPS and WiFi and determine local weather as accurately as possible. You don’t have to update your location — the app does it for you.
Forecasts come in Current, Short-Term, Long-Term and Hourly varieties, and you also have access to radar maps. The app uses push notifications to tell you about inclement weather in your region, though there is no Live Tile support just yet.
