Stitcher is one of the best podcast apps out there. The service, as the name would suggest, “stitches” various programs together depending on your listening history and an intelligent recommendation engine. If you’re into music, sports, news or technology, there’s a huge database of stuff to listen to.
Today’s update to version 5.0 brings a widely-requested feature in offline playback. This allows you to download entire programs and listen to them without a cell signal; you can also set the program to download only over WiFi to conserve cellular data.
The update also brings improved AirPlay integration, comments on individual podcasts, better search and easier Facebook sharing.
