Evernote for Android update brings rich Jelly Bean notifications, performance improvements

Evernote for Android has been given a nice little bump today, bringing some Jelly Bean-only functionality to the table.

In addition to performance improvements and bug fixes, the company has added rich notifications for devices that support it. As you can see, my Galaxy S III running Jelly Bean is able to share or edit a recently-updated note right from the notification bar. If you upload a photo note, the thumbnail can also be seen from the window shade.

Notes now load faster when there’s an image in them, and overall performance is considerably improved throughout the app.
