Google has announced today, just in time for your U.S. vacation, the implementation of indoor maps in Android’s Google Maps for 20 museums littered across the country. These include “the de Young Museum in San Francisco, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Cincinnati Museum Center, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History and 17 Smithsonian museums.”
You can find these indoor maps, in addition to walking directions for the floor plans, by searching for these museums from within the Google Maps app. More museums are coming soon, including San Francisco’s MOMA and New Orleans’ National WWII Museum.
