Update: Winner announced in our HTC One X contest

Update: This contest is now closed. We are happy to announce that the winner of the HTC One X is forum member “daniel28.” Congrats! In the meantime, we still have our HTC One V and Samsung Galaxy Note contests happening.

HTC has released a stellar device with the One X. It’s powerful, slim and runs Android OS 4.0. You can have a gander at our full review here, but this phone is stacked: OS 4.0.3 with Sense 4.0, 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 display, 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera that shoots 1080p HD videos, NFC, Beats Audio and LTE. It’s one of the best – if not the best device in Canada today – and it could be yours!

We’re giving one of these sexy devices away. All you have to do is either follow us and re-tweet this contest on Twitter (@mobilesyrup), “Like Us” on Facebook (Facebook.com/MobileSyrup), or join us on Google +. All current Facebook, Forum, Twitter and Google + followers are automatically entered. This contest closes May 28th and we’ll announce the winner shortly after.

    Just played with one at Futureshop. It’s so snappy compared to my Galaxy S, it’s awesome. Love the look and feel.
    But why we have to sacrifice Quad core for a tiny subset of LTE signal in Canada is beyond me.

      In most cases, the dual core S4 SoC performs better than the Tegra 3 SoC, so it’s a great tradeoff… Especially when taking battery life into consideration, the S4 version lasts quite a bit longer than the Tegra 3 version, not to mention LTE capabilities. No one really needs a quad core SoC in a smartphone anyways, they’re more useful in tablets than smartphones.

    Looks like HTC is back in the game. They’ve fumbled along with a few phones but this one is making people sit up and pay some attention. Not sure I like the storage space but then again my old iTouch is still around and could be used for music when needed.

    this is my dream phone please i want it more than any other phone i have been an htc fan since the sensation came out and i fell in love with its UI but this fun is even more amazing than the sensation it has beats audio which i never tried by the way and im hoping to get this phone and it has an incredible quad-core prossessor which im dying to try outso please i really want that phone i have a blackberry and every time i send a picture i need to pull off the battery then reinsert it so im dying for an upgrade and THANK YOU mobilesyrup for this contest:D
