The rugged Android-powered Bell Samsung Galaxy Rugby was supposed to launch today, but it’s not yet ready for prime time. No real reason for the delay, possibly shipping. The internal doc we received states that “The launch of the Samsung Galaxy Rugby smartphone has been delayed and is no longer scheduled for Thursday April 19, 2012. A revised launch date will be provided in a future communication.”
Both Rogers and SaskTel are also scheduled to release the Galaxy Rugby. We’ll update you when we hear more…
Update: We just received an internal doc that states “Note that product will begin shipping immediately for the Samsung Galaxy Rugby. Stores can begin selling on Thursday, April 26, 2012.” This will be $299.95 outright.
