Video: Sony taps director Wes Anderson to create next Xperia commercials

Sony will be launching the Xperia S sometime this Spring. To keep the enthusiasm and interest level high they have called upon director Wes Anderson to create their next commercial. According the teaser video that was uploaded to YouTube the official debut will happen on March 24th and will be “Made of Imagination”. So far you can expect to see 37 hand-crafted Android robots, kids who answers the question of what makes Sony smartphones special. The full teaser is below, but look out for the commercial in a few days.

  1. I have a hard time believing that kids would have much to say about Sony smartphones other than “whaaa?” Anyway Wes Anderson will make it awesome.

  2. sadly sony are i****s, by the time this device gets release, the SIII will be announced and no much interest will be given to this device, I really want this phone badly but launching it 2-3 months after the rest of the world, pretty lame IMO. I wouldnt be surprised the SIII is released before this phone.
