Lenovo launches Lenovo Cloud Storage powered by Sugarsync, offering 5GB of free storage

Lenovo is attempting to bridge the gap between their Windows PCs and burgeoning Android tablet market, and to that end are launching a Cloud Storage feature powered by Sugarsync. Currently available on Windows and Android, the service is essentially a white-labeled version of Sugarsync’s excellent cloud sync solution, and is offering 5GB for free to any user who signs up.

While the core app offers no radical improvements to Sugarsync itself, Lenovo is looking to gain market traction by pre-installing it on their various devices, including upcoming Windows 8 and Android-powered tablets. We took a look at some of them during CES and there is a lot of potential there.

The app is currently available for download on the PC, and will be available in April for Android.

Take a look over at Lenovo.
