The LG “X3” now has an official model number, the P880, and with it some real specs. The 4.7-inch 1280×720 slab should come with a Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 8MP back camera, all under 9mm thick. It should also have a 21Mbps HSPA+ baseband, NFC and low-powered Bluetooth 4.0.
Another more odd-shaped device, the P700, is to launch at Mobile World Congress at the end of the month, and sport what seems like a 640×480 pixel display. That’s about all we know of the mysterious device so far.
What’s good is that both these devices will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, though we’d wager they won’t be released until mid-year at the earliest.
Stay tuned for more information as we edge closer to the end of the month.

Now i won’t repeat what i said on the LG Optimus page, which says that LG makes lots of devices but supports very few of them.
If LG releases another 3D phone, it should have LTE and thus be called “LG Optimus 3D LTE”.

Not bad. Might be the best LG device so far.
I don’t know why they don’t call it the X4 since it’s a quad core.

In Asia 4 is a bad number, something like 13
in western culture.

Looks and sounds impressive but will LG support it longer then 8 months after it’s released?

So it’ll be right in time for Android 5.0 to launch… And get discontinued rather than upgraded.
