Rogers just announced a couple new family plans, so let us now introduce you to their new “Small Business SmartTeam Unlimited” plans. From what I can tell the plans now include Unlimited local Talk and includes 2 lines. Here are all the details of the Unlimited Voice/Messaging and the Unlimited Voice and Data that only includes 2GB of shared data (not really unlimited), and the plans all include Call Forwarding and the option of WhoCalled and Call Manager (no voicemail or caller ID):

SmartTeam Unlimited – Voice & Messaging:
- Unlimited Local Talk
- Unlimited Extreme Text Messaging
- Unlimited Picture and Video Messaging
- Unlimited Canada-Wide Team Calling
Add on options: $10 Unlimited Canada-wide calling
$95.94/month with a 3 year activation (for 2 lines)
$27.97 Add A Line (includes GRFF)

SmartTeam Unlimited – Voice & Data:
- Unlimited Local Talk
- Unlimited Extreme Text Messaging
- Unlimited Picture and Video Messaging
- Unlimited Canada-Wide Team Calling
- 2 GB of Shared Data (LTE ready)
Add on options: $10 Unlimited Canada-wide calling
$140.94/month with a 3 year activation (for 2 lines)
$37.97 Add A Line (includes GRRF)

Thoughts?
(Thanks tipster!)

What is the difference between this and the Family Plans, other than the personal/corporate aspects of each?

Is it safe to say that Bell and TELUS will release similar plans?

Unlimited Québec, with the Big 3 (not flanker brands), still provides some good value if you just want one line at $65/month. Will Québec plans change? What will happen to prices at value carriers? i’m interested to see how all of this will play out.

No difference, other than the corporate stuff. Which actually isn’t bad. Calls into small business support are answered really fast, from when I was a consumer on a business plan.

Not sure how it is now though.

    • Lawlerballer

WHOA LETS SELL OUR SOULS TO ROGERS FOR 3 YEARS BECAUSE FOR EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME TEXT MESSAGING IT’S WORTH IT

  • Alex Perrier

    Do not feed the trolls!

  • Len

Wow…lotta clowns around here. Likely 14 year old clowns. Business plans allow more than 5 users to be on one account. This is great value. Especially if you want a phone that works indoors.

      AND XTREME MESSAGING!

  • D.B

Guys, what is the meaning of unlimited? Is it something that you have limits on? Where is my dictionary?

  • :)

Bell has better deal for $35 hehehe but I can’t wait to finish my contract and move to Wind or Mobilicity!

  • mSingh

How is this a good deal? Any real business would know how this is a rip off,

  • cuffzz

UNLIMITED? This is NOT unlimited. Still have to pay for data after 2GB of shared data. On a 3 year at $140.00 a month plan over 2 lines and also don’t forget the system access BS charge of $6.95 (I bet its on both lines too, so add $13.40). Now it’s a good idea if you wanted to use an iphone, but if you’re a blackberry or android user you have much cheaper options out there with Wind and Mobilicity. I use the nexus s on wind for only $40 and I have unlimited data, talk anywhere in North America, text worldwide and so on. I’ve been with wind now for almost 2 years and I don’t have any issues with my service, anymore… but the 1st 6 months were a bit rocky to start. I would like to see the big 3 even get kind of close to that. Even $60.00 a month would be nice from them… hell they got the money, give your customers a brake? And 3-year contracts? Still living in the 90’s I see.

    • Jayson F

      I think $6.95×2 = $13.90…

  • CDB

I pay $35 a month for unlimited everything with Wind. Granted coverage isn’t there in some locales, but $140 a month for that extra coverage from Rogers, versus $35 I pay?!

    Holy crap batman!!

I feel so sorry for Rogers customers.

  • Unco

$70 + tax GRFF etc, thats well over $80 per line and you only get 1gb data each, thats garbage.
    Robbers will always be robbers.

  • limited inc.

Roger$ gives UNLIMITED COCK in A$$!

  • mark paisley

why wouldnt you just get the virgin $50 unlimited Canada wide plan? This rogers plan is crap, there is no long distance…. but it has EXTREME TEXTING….

  • Dave Bosch

..BUT DOES IT COME WITH TEXT MESSAGING?
