Contest: Win a BlackBerry PlayBook! (Winner announced)

UPDATE: This contest is now closed. We are happy to announce that Twitter follower “Mosgutus” has taken home the PlayBook. Congrats! More contest are happening now and more on the way!!

RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook has seen it fair share of kicks. Some say the product was rushed to market and missed important features, such as a native email, contacts and calendar app. The price of this tablet has been slashed month after month… but it doesn’t mean that it’s a bad product. We actually think it’s a solid piece of hardware. Plus with BlackBerry OS 2.0 launching in a few weeks it’ll make this an even more powerful/capable device (see our hands-on here). So we thought we’d throw a contest together and giveaway a 16GB PlayBook!

As usual, all you have to do to enter this contest is: Follow us and re-tweet this contest on Twitter (@mobilesyrup), “Like Us” on Facebook (Facebook.com/MobileSyrup), Google +. All current Facebook, Twitter, and Google + followers are automatically entered. This contest closes the day RIM officially releases the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 and we’ll announce our winner the next day.

Update: Since RIM released PlayBook OS 2.0 today (February 21st) the contest will close today, winner announced tomorrow.

  53. I’ve tried a Playbook out for an extended period and really love the product! The lack of skype support and gmail integration bring the product down, but once OS 2.0 comes out everything will be fixed! Throw in the Android App Player when it comes out and you’re good to go.

    If I don’t win I’ll be won for sure.
