iPhone 4 and iPad “Corona” untethered jailbreak updated to support iBooks

While we’re on the topic of jailbreaks, it might be prudent to point out that the iPhone 4 and iPad “Corona” jailbreak that was released last month has been updated to support iBooks in iOS 5.0.1.

The new build, which has been included in redsn0w 0.9.10b4 as well, also fixes some important bugs that caused the launcher to crash every once in a while.

If you are already jailbroken, you can either run Corona through the Cydia store, or download the updated version of redsn0w for OS X or Windows — both have the same net effect.

Check out the Dev-Team Blog for more information on this untethered jailbreak, which is compatible with all A4 devices including iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G.
