HootSuite app for BlackBerry officially available


HootSuite app for BlackBerry has officially left beta and is now available in the App World. This will add to their growing subscriber base, which recently crossed over the 2 million mark. BB users can now download the app for free and it supports Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Foursquare accounts, giving you the ability to do everything social: Tweet, check-in, stock people on Facebook and Linkedin. Here’s the complete list of features:

- Manage multiple social identities and accounts
- Receive optional background notifications for updates
- Create custom views for tags and searches
- Schedule messages to send in the future
- Examine Ow.ly click-through stat reports
- Share and store photos and files
- Shorten URLs with Ow.ly

  1. Yeah, i can see corporate types and even organizations who’d want to use this app. Also, it shouldn’t require a 3G Internet plan, so it can work without BIS/Social plans! Even those with the BBM, Email and with a limited 3G plan can use this on Wi-Fi at no charge.

    Better late than never, but kudos for a BIS-free Twitter app! :D
