Update: WIND extends the Holiday Miracle Plan once again, now expires January 8th

When WIND brought back the $40 all-in Holiday Miracle plan last week, they also said it would expire on December 25th. Now, “due to popular demand”, the promo has been expended until December 31st. The above internal screenshot has all the details, but for a refresher the plan includes: Unlimited Canada-wide and US calling, unlimited texting, unlimited data, Call Control (Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, 3 Way Calling, Caller ID), and Voicemail.

Update: The Wind Mobile $40/month all-in Holiday Miracle Plan was supposed to be a “limited time offer”, but has been extended not once, but twice. Good deal for those who thought they missed out on the promo as it’s been extended to January 8th.

    • They never charged $30 to activate it. Unless you mean for people already subscribed to Wind.

  5. Damn it Wind, Mobi!! just buy Public Mobile and start providing service in Quebec. The 3 amigos and the new sidekick videotron are too expensive.

  6. Hey Rocco StiffReddi, do you wipe your mouth the same way you wipe your a*s after spewing so much garbage? SS, don’t listen to him. He’s just a lonely Rogers employee with way too much time on his hands since his kiosk is always empty because it sits too close to Wind and Mobilicity stores.

  7. Switched from rogers yesterday and got this plan. Great value – will be saving well over $850 per year compare to rogers

  8. I am with wind for over a year now. Extremely happy with their service..their quality and coverage has vastly improved since their launch. Can’T complain at all. The big 3 are a joke and have been ripping of customers for ages

  9. Been with wind on HMP for about a year as well, and have nothing to complain about, aside from reception in my basement. Once in a while, I do lose signal there, but then again, I only had 1-2 bars with rogers. Everywhere else I go, the reception is anywhere from good to great. Loving it!

  10. Just upgraded to Holiday Miracle and now when I drive across the 401 I have no dropped calls like I did with Robber$ eFFF Robber$ Talking about wasting time with customer service? Call Rogers customer service and see how it takes 8 reps to make a change to your data plan then bill you $100 ECF fee when you just wanted to change your plan!

  14. I have 2 nexus google phones. 1 with Rogers and 1 with wind. At home I get 3 bars with Rogers, 5 with wind. At work I get 0 bars with Rogers and 4 with wind, my friend with the same phone gets 4 with bell too. I used to pay $86 a month with Rogers for local calling and limited data, i would always go over by a couple of dolars with rogers so id pay around $93…but not I pay $40 a month for unlimited calling and data around Canada. Wind is also expanding their service areas so no roaming fees. You can also call them and ask them to change your settings so if you are in a roaming area you get no service. Customer service has been so far way better than Rogers.

My suggestion to all of you that are on contract with Rogers is to cancel data and lower your plan to the emergency p,an which is $13 a month and never use that phone again. Then get a plan with wind. It’s cheaper or me to have both phones than to have 1 phone with Rogers .

  15. Left Robber 2 years ago, I got my wife, mom, stepmom, cousin and neighbour all to switch since then. The service doesn’t suck anymore! Yes I am not a Wind fanboy but better than paying 100 dollars a month to Rogers to abit better service. So far, I have saved over 600 by switching and got a bill I enjoy paying every month: 88 dollars tax in for three lines!! The same I paid for one wit Robbers. If I don’t get reception, I kick the phone into 2G only and use Robbers at .20 cent a min still cheap than .35 I paid with robbers when I went over my mins.
