RIM promised the release of Angry Birds for the BlackBerry Playbook all the way back in May at BlackBerry World, but only now are we finally seeing the fruits of that promise. In fact, we are seeing three pieces of fruit in three separate versions: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.
Each app is $4.99 and should come with all the levels you love and expect from Rovio.
Check them out in the BlackBerry App World:
- Angry Birds
- Angry Birds Seasons
- Angry Birds Rio
Excellent, I love this game. I downloaded it and it plays very nicely on the Playbook.

RIM is able to bring Angry Birds to Playbook (delayed since may) but they’re still not able to bring email, contacts, BBM, calendar – all native – to the playbook?

i love how all other tablets have angry birds (FREE) and now rim is coming to the table with it – thinking they are ahead of the curve and making ground breaking news.

RIM lost over 80% stock value this year and the most they can do is release an outdated game of angry birds on playbook?

Bad sign that it took so long to get angry birds on the Playbook. Good sign that qnx is starting to operate with blackberry. Look to see alot.of qnx stuff software coming out in the coming months.
