No worries BlackBerry users, a tiny bit of positive news here. BlackBerry App World has been updated to version 3.1.0.56. This brings the usual amount of bug fixes, plus new features such as requesting/gifting apps, WiFi only use, content ratings and support for new languages (Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Dutch).
The BlackBerry App World recently hit one billion app downloads and is currently seeing 5 million apps downloads per day. In the quarterly conference call yesterday RIM noted they have 75 million BlackBerry subscribers.
