RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook is already massively discounted – if you know a RIM employee you can score this tablet for as low as $99, however, for the vast majority of us the pricing now starts at $199 for the 16GB version. Rogers has put together a promo that honours the 199 rate, plus also gives an additional $20 off, taking it to a starting point of $179.99. In addition, they have treated the PlayBook accessories the same as the tablet by cutting the prices. For those interested you can get up to 65% off select BlackBerry PlayBook accessories. No indication of which accessories are discounted, only that the Premium Charger is excluded.
