iSpeech Translator Pro app for BlackBerry is free for a limited time


One more “compliments of BlackBerry” app can be downloaded to your phone. iSpeech Translator Pro brings the total of free apps to 15 and allows you to speak into your Berry and translate any words or phrases including email or text in several languages (Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese). Here’s a full list of features:

- Translate any text by speaking or typing it
- After typing or speaking the phrase, the translation will appear in the text box
- Cut and paste from web browser, chat applications, emails
- Translate by speaking text in 7 languages (more coming soon)
- Listen to your translations read aloud in 18 languages (more coming soon)
- Share your favorite translations with friends on Facebook

  1. This changes things a bit. Android’s free, native speech translator (Google Talk) is alright, though. It consists of neat translator bots. :)

  5. This app is not available for the 9900. RIM providing free apps? Oh thanks but your customers can’t use it. Still have yet to hit the $100 mark and that was over 2 months ago stating they would give back to the customers. Some of the gifted apps were useless. A credit towards apps we chose ourselves would have been more ideal.

    • Huynh, sounds believeable, but please explain. Which apps do you dislike? Will RIM extend the offer in January, perhaps, because they didn’t give “over $100 of free apps” yet?

I saw your topic ,WOW its almost the same as what i have ,I have this app on my iPhone called speechtrans that let me communicate with people with different languages.this is the website http://speechtrans.com this app help me to my language class.and also eliminate language barrier. i hope this will help student like me because its a great help for esl student, for me its consider a educational tool . and thank you so much for posting this topic its a big news , because allot of people is experiencing language barrier in the web this is a great help
    for a BB phone user :)
