Galaxy Nexus starts shipping to Virgin Mobile customers

This is a beautiful sign, something that will bring severe joy to Canadians. Virgin Mobile customers have started to receive notice from Purolator that the Galaxy Nexus, aka the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 dream, will within arrive 3-5 business days. The official launch of the Galaxy Nexus is on December 8th, but Samsung, Virgin and Bell will be celebrating this release with a concert by the Sheepdogs in Toronto 1-day early on the 7th. We’re a couple days away now…

  3. Uhm, let’s compare Roger’s SGH-LTE release v.s. Virgin’s Nexus release. . ….Looks like the Virgin is the more experienced….Who Knew!

  7. The twitter lineup on Bell stated that the winners would be the first 100 to receive the device in Canada. I was one of the first 100. Today, Bell informed me that the phone still hasn’t shipped and that I can expect to wait between 8 and 10 business days for it to show up.

    I can’t believe that I spent an entire day messing around on twitter (and helping them trend) just so that I could end up at the back of the line.

    I don’t think that anyone at Bell ever thought the promotion through. I am terribly disappointed.

  8. I got the same email saying it shipped (on the 5th)

    I tracked it and it said it’s been picked up by purolator.

    However, now the tracking isn’t working and it tells me to call purolator………
