Mobilicity has released yet another BlackBerry – the all-touch Curve 9380. However, while other carriers have listed this for no-contract prices of $374.95 (Bell) and $369.99 (TELUS), Mobilicity has once again come out with the lowest handset price in Canada at $299.99 outright. The Curve 9380 has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display (480×360 resolution) 806Mhz processor, 5MP camera with VGA video recording, NFC. Overall dimensions are 109 x 60 x 11.2mm and weighs 98 grams. I think this is a good price point and actually think it will sell.
But the 9360 should be cheaper than 299. Maybe drop it to 279 or 269.

Wow and my contract with Rogers just ended yesterday. I just bought a playbook as my first Blackberry device and love it very much. I have not touched my laptop for the last 4 days. I think this is the phone I will get with the 40 dollar plan I hear about.

Hi Mario,
Alex from RIM here. Glad to hear you’re enjoying your PlayBook – a nice match with the BlackBerry Curve 9380 you’re thinking about getting next. With the free BlackBerry Bridge smartphone app, you’ll be able to access your email, calendar, contacts, memo pad, tasks and BBM—all on the PlayBook’s larger display. You can even access the web when you’re outside of Wi-Fi coverage using your existing BlackBerry smartphone’s data connection (check with your wireless carrier for options and costs).
And before you pick up the Curve 9380, I suggest you check out this “three things you should know” post on our Inside BlackBerry Blog: http://bbry.lv/v9wxko.
Cheers,
Alex, RIM Social Media Team

$300 is a very good price compared to the other carriers, even though I always thought that $250 makes more sense for the Curve line. No fault of Mobilicity though, they always offer phones cheaper than their competitors.
