Video: RAZR gets launched out of an air cannon, destroys an egg and a birthday cake

Pretty creative stuff here coming out of the Rogers and Motorola camp – not as classy as the “Will it Blend” dude, but they decided to launch the new RAZR out of an air cannon and show an egg and birthday cake who’s king. I’d say a wall would have been better to show the strength of the KEVLAR backing.

  2. Haha, that was awesome! My favourite part is the disclaimer at the bottom that says, “Does not represent normal usage of device.” Dammit!! There go my plans to buy the RAZR for $0 this week and just launch it through soft things for 3 years. Curse you, Rogers and Motorola!!

  3. Maybe gangsters will use the phone with the Kevlar back for protection as they rob banks or something in the event the cops show up. lol Okay, okay, I am not advocating theft or anything of the like. The cell providers have that market cornered already. ;-)

  4. I love Samsung and all things android but this commercial is kinda dumb. OH YEAH! Show how strong it is by shooting it at a egg and a cake! Because that impact is 100% worse than dropping it at elbow height on a hard floor! Garbage.

  7. Worst idea ever…. I rather see them shoot the phone or actually launch it into a wall of bricks OR drive on top of it. Seeing this just made me not want to buy this phone.
