Yellow Pages Group, synonymous with the big yellow directory book, has been looking for ways to find additional revenue and they’ve now hopped on to the local deals trend. “ShopWise” is an app that’s currently only available in English to iPhone users and allows you to find daily deals. The app also gives you the option to receive alerts on deals that you are interested in, get “Nearby” deals that are based on your location (you have to agree to the opt-in terms and conditions), and share via people in your contact list. A French version is on the way and no word if it’ll be available on BlackBerry, Windows Phone or Android.
