Mobi has added the Huawei E583C and the Huawei D105 Wi-Fi Dock to their lineup. Both can create Wi-Fi hotspots – the E583C can hook up to 5 Wi-Fi devices and the D105 is a docking station for their Huawei E1691 data stick that makes it possible for over 20 Wi-Fi devices to hook into. Could be something good to use in the office… the Huawei E583C costs $99.99 and the Huawei D105 Wi-Fi dock is priced at $69.99. (Wind Mobile also have these two devices at the same price points)

Mobilicity is just copying everything Wind does! First Wind got a wifi hotspot, now Mobi just copies them. Can’t they come up with something on their own?
Well, isn’t that what everyone was saying about Wind before?
I’m just kidding around. Good addition to the lineup.

NB: Whats wrong in copying the good things from Wind?
after all – the people who gain are the customers?
As long as mobi doesnt copy the cheap huaweis .. I am happy

The reason i say this is because people with a $50/month or more Robelus contract, such as myself, don’t want to pay $25/month for another voice or $40/month for another data plan. So Mobilicity is missing customers like me.
Downgrading to $20/month is an option, but it’s still a lot of money for a barebones plan.

Then don’t go with Mobi, go with Wind.
That’s the great thing about these companies, they both have two very competitive price sets, and if one doesn’t cater to you, there’s the other that does.
There’s no need to even look at the big three.

What i don’t understand is why i have all the thumbs down. Yes, i like it that Wind and Mobilicity are both unique, except maybe for the $25/$35/$45 plans in most aspects. But…
…Mobilicity once had an “Unlimited texting and Mobilicity calling” for $15/month. What happened to that? It was pretty decent…
All in all, if Mobilicity wants my support, getting $10 to $20/month from me is better than getting nothing. They’re a very good company, but they only want high-paying customers, so they are missing out on many potential clients.

I think, given they’re offering all in at $25, you might be wrong saying they’re only catering to high paying customers.

I’ve got the Huawei D105 Wi-Fi dock with WIND Mobile. It works really well. I just wish that WIND would work really well by putting up some cell towers in the eastern tip of Scarborough.
To WIND Mobile: There are people that live around Meadowvale Road and Port Union Road. We need some cell towers!!
