ColorWare gives you the freedom to change the colour of your Bold 9900

If the 24ct. gold BlackBerry Bold 9900 was too much bling, you can always scale down and simply get the casing colour changed. ColorWare has finally made the 9900 available for everyone to change up. You can mix and match and go nuts with several different colours (front, back and logo). As for pricing, there are two options: purchase the 9900 outright from them and pay $1000 (USD), or buy one yourself and send it to them for $250 (USD)… but it’ll take a couple weeks for it to get back into your hands.

Check it here at ColorWare

  5. @ PHAKT PHYNDER

Again with the same old saying eh? Can not come up with anything else in your dictionary but just that sentence? Do you even have a life or do you enjoy making fun & trolling things?

As for the colors i would but not for $1,000. If anything i would just leave it the way it is.

  7. yeah pay them 250 dollars to get different coloring.

or wait for the Chinese 3rd party to come up with different housing options like they did with all the other blackberries at one tenth of the price.

  8. $350 for the 9900 outright its just too much for a phone that can’t be upgraded to QNX. when the next BB phones come “By the end of Q1″ Just imagine the reselling value!!

Hold on… the 9900 its $600 outright in Oct 2011; the same price of the Samsung Galaxy SII, you are joking right?

The 9900 can’t be upgraded when QNX arrives, whereas the Samsung will be upgradable for about 2 yrs and after that you could probably still sell it for $150!

That is why RIM stock prices are about $20!
I pitty the fool that gets the 9900 on a 3yr contract.

  13. When I was 2 I accidentally ate a couple containers of play-doh. Apparently my s**t was a bunch of very funky colours. It was still s**t.

  14. The bold is a really nice phone, but I think you have a typo on the $1000 – it’s got one too many zero.
