Angry Birds has been downloaded over 350 million times

Rovio has created one of the most popular mobile games with the Angry Birds franchise, probably one the most profitable one-hit wonders. This success is estimated to bring the value of the company to over $1.2 billion. Theme parks, toys and more movie deals are all in the works – all this from a game that has an aim to destroys pigs. Rovio GM Andrew Stalbow has stated the number of downloads has increased to over 350 million, up 50 million from the previous number. In addition, the combined number of minutes that a users play has also risen to more than 300 million minutes a day (up 100 minutes).

Do you still play Angry Birds or have you moved on?

    • Honestly i bet they would also. They charge you for everything & anything just to make money..

I love angry birds. Play it while on the bus or even in bed. TBH i barely play any other game.

    • How would they? its in the app store where they have no control over the pricing, maybe if its a seperate download on their website and if that were to happen I don’t think anyone would be dumb enough to pay that much when its much cheaper or free in the app store and marketplace…not even the non tech savvy people would fall for that cr*p.

  2. i’ve got it for the TouchPad and it’s pretty fun. i wouldn’t consider myself an addict, however. Does anyone have any other suggestions for games and other software on the TouchPad?

    • Not anywhere close to Vlad and some of the others. i’ve dropped the comments regarding the 8130 already. Anyway, Syrup needs to improve its comments section, because this is just starting to get unbearable.

  10. Boring boring and boring game.

Played a couple times and deleted it.

The fact this type of stuff gets a five star treatment from our society makes me weep for the future.
