The new BlackBerry Curve 9360 was officially announced today by RIM. Several carriers confirmed this new QWERTY device will be available before the month is over (Rogers, TELUS, Virgin). We’ve posted a few internal docs that showed various upcoming launch dates; Bell has this scheduled for August 29th and this is possibly the same date for Virgin too.
Koodo Mobile will also be adding this smartphone to their lineup. We previously posted a screenshot that showed this BlackBerry 7 device listed for $300 outright. Best Buy has gone ahead and confirmed this upcoming release and listed the 9360 for the Tab price of $150. No word on an exact launch date but we are hearing around the 29th as well.
More soon!

Not familiar with the tab system.
Is that you pay $150 dollars and pay your phone off over time or alternatively, you buy it outright for $300?

Well the tab is 150$, so you can put that towards your new phone, so for the new curve, its 300$ take away 150$ because of the tab so you pay 150$. than 10% of each bill goes towards paying off your phone. but you can pay off your tab whenever you want.

I do believe this is the first BB Curve they get at the time it’s initially released. The 8530 and 9300 came to Koodo months after they were released on Robellus. Is this a sign Koodo’s stepping up their game?

I don’t think a 9360 is a company stepping up their game, Nick.

Fact: The keyboard on this phone is bigger than the screen!

Rather buy a phone from Mobilicity while the back to school sale is on.

Try $169.99 for the state of the art Samsung Galaxy S2 superphone with the best I mean the best Specs in Canada right now. This blows Iphone out of the water, and makes Iphone look like a kids toy phone. ya its $99 for an Iphone 4 which is a 2 year old phone with outdated specs, and bad design, and has antenna gate issues, glass gate issues, still has a small screen, no expandable micro sd card slot. No flash support. no dual core processor, and is designed from stolen Samsung, HTC technology. ya ok Apple. I’d rather stick to my superphone Samsung Galaxy S2 which is worth more for my money.

Or even the Samsung Nexus S blows Iphone out of the water as well, look at all the review between Iphone 4 and Samsung Nexus S, the Nexus S is always faster and smoother than the Iphone 4. Nexus S has way better browser speed, Nexus S has better screen quality, bigger screen size, and wow Nexus S has amoled display, when you see it, its amazing. Nexus S has better camera quality than the Iphone 4. And Nexus S has way better build quality, atleast if you put a nexus s in your pocket you’ll know it won’t break, unlike the Iphone 4′s fragile design which cracks the rear glass so easily, or even the screen cracks so easily. Just because an Iphone is more expensive doesn’t make it more of a quality phone, I find holding a Iphone 4 in my hand I’m scared it’ll break. With holding a Samsung product in my hand I know it will last longer, because its build right with the right materials. Its like what will you feel safer in, In a car thats made of metal or a car made out of glass. I’d pick a car made out of metal. same with a phone, I will never pick one made out of glass, duh, Apple you so dumb you phones break so easily. Get your design team to work.
