  5. I love how people are dissing BB but yet they can not even make better phones. How about the people that are bitching & complaining about bb why don’t you guys make a company like them & make better phones. Ohwait you guys can’t. Sit the f**k down.

I already have the bold 9900 & the 9810. I am waiting till the 9860 comes out. You guys are saying its lagging? Have you guys used these phones? I doubt it. Its faster then all the other Blackberries i own & also its smoother. Something you guys have not seen.

    • Making our “own” company? You’re an i***t. It’s not about that. It’s about the morons running RIM that do not innovate and introduce new and refreshing ideas that actually work. You may have those phones but in 6 months when they are no good cuz of QNX you’ll be hating RIM. Meanwhile, I will have my Samsung Hercules still kicking, with tons of apps and functionality.

  6. @ Elny. I do not care about QNX or w.e. I buy a phone to use. Not to compare it to the other ones & show off. Actually it is. People bash RIM because they do not make phone like Apple or HTC or even Samsung. I would like to see one of the bashers to even try to come remotely to making a phone that will outbeat apple, samsung & the rest. Yes RIM does not provide software upgrades like apple every 2 months but RIM has great devices. Why do you think people buy them? I do not care about lots of apps or dual cores or even how it looks. As long as it works.

    • As long as it works eh?

lmfao… go get a Nokia… shitty app store, OS, functionality, but hey it works. You can call and text!! and as an added bonus you might even get a half decent camera.. best part is tho.. it costs 1/3rd the price of the BBs..

BB fanboys are no different than Apple fanboys.. except the latter having a lil more substance..

  7. who cares if these phones are faster than previous berry’s, they’re not faster than the competition, period. RIM is never going to get ahead by always being 5 steps behind. the new devices they’re releasing the slab torch and curve, nothing that will bring them a leap forward to compete with HTC, Apple and Samsung. it won’t be another year until they release their next generation bold or torch, and by then they’ll just be introducing dual core phones to the market when the competition may be on quad core phones.. who knows! also i find it very interesting on the telus site it says that these devices have been improved to load web pages and flash pages better… no they haven’t. RIM is a joke. they say they’re waiting for their next line up of devices to introduce flash because their current phones won’t present an enjoyable experience? um, there’s android devices with 600MHz processors that run flash. RIM needs to get their act together. /rant.

  8. QNX will come out and STILL be behind everyone else. Why do people continously bring that s**t up? It’s very annoying. Just like when something comes out they say how a certain feature is going to be in the next version. Always pimping the shitty future.

  9. i don’t understand why people are so excited about QNX, it’s not like it’s doing the PlayBook any good… Sprint just canceled to sell the PlayBook in the US!

  10. The amazing part here is that MTS is actually getting these phones way before they’ll be a year old.

  11. @Azure – The got the old Blackberries late because their “4G” network went live recently. Its not like they’d sell gsm phones to their customer when they’re new network isn’t live yet lol.

  12. Referring to some comments above that no one likes BB devices, etc….
Just to point out, a recent poll done:
“According to comScore, as of March 2011, 6.6 million Canadians owned a smartphone. Of that 6.6 million, 42% were using a Blackberry smartphone.”

Why does BB lead as Canadians choice? iPhone came in second with 31% of smartphones, Android with 12%.
