TELUS just sent out a couple news releases that stated “to help meet the growing demand for wireless services” they hired a whack load of new people. 250 in the Toronto area and 650 in Quebec with “plans to hire even more new team members this year”. This now brings the total number of employees to over 25,000 in Canada. Hopefully some ex-RIM employees found a home at TELUS.
