HootSuite reaches the 2 million user mark

Vancouver-based Invoke Media launched HootSuite back in December of 2008 and the social media dashboard has surpassed the 2 million user mark. The company created an infographic to celebrate the achievement and showed their massive growth over the years. HootSuite is available via the web and also through several mobile apps such as the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry devices plus the iPad. HootSuite says that both consumers and businesses were responsible for sending of 500,000,000 messages: web captured the most traffic with 74%, followed by iPhone with 20%, Android was 4% and BlackBerry represented 2%.
