Koodo INQ Cloud Touch gets released at Best Buy first

Koodo Mobile never formally announced they’ll be releasing the INQ Cloud Touch, it was parent-company TELUS that stated this Android will be “coming soon”. However, from an internal doc we knew this was hitting Koodo for $200 outright and $50 on the Tab… and it seems Best Buy Mobile made this available today for $0.01 cheaper (release date stated as 07/01/2011). This is actually a good fit for the Koodo lineup, specs have it coming with OS 2.2 Froyo, 3.5-inch display (resolution of 320 x 480), heavy integration with Facebook, 5 megapixel camera with video capabilities, Wi-Fi and the ability to create a Wi-Fi hotspot.

This is not yet listed on Koodo, but you can check it here at Best Buy

  4. Telus 3G is unstable on Canada Day. While i wrote an entire comment, it didn’t get through, probably due to congestion.

Gonna write when the connexion’s better! :S

  5. Of course another crappy phone for Koodo, INQ phones are garbage, not worth $5 bucks if you ask me. Koodo if your listening, you need to release better phones, you only have 1.5 good phone selection, nexus s and optimus one. pretty pitiful if you ask me

  8. Yeah there is really no reason to get this phone at 50$ when you can get the optimus one at 150$ drop this to the same prices as the optimus one and then maybe it will be worth it.

  9. I don’t see this phone doing well. Nothing stands out on it. It doesn’t even run Gigerbread out of the box! It might have been competitive back when the Acer Liquid E launched at Rogers/Fido. Today? With new Gingerbread phones launching almost daily, not to mention having the Nexus and Xperia on the market, this thing is way behind.
