The HTC ChaCha is coming to Canada as the HTC “Status”. We let you know about this upcoming Android device late last week and TELUS has now officially put the “coming soon” stamp on it. This will be available for the back-to-school time frame in a couple colours: black and purple. No price points were announced but “it’s the first device in Canada with a dedicated Facebook share button”. This QWERTY device will run Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense, has ability to create a Wi-Fi hotspot and comes with a 5 megapixel camera and a front-facing camera for video calling.
