Google hosted an Android event today and talked about Android 3.0, but one major announcement was the addition of the Android Market on the web. So now you can search, browse, download and purchase apps from the Android Market via the web and install them directly to your registered devices. Similar to other app stores there is a featured section, top paid and top free apps… plus various categories on the left hand side. There is also the ability to share the apps you’ve downloaded via Twitter.
