Not much is known about the above unnamed and unreleased HTC device. It’s running Android and looks similar to the HTC Desire HD… in addition, it has a front facing camera, touchscreen display, 3.5 mm headset jack, curved speaker at the top, completely button-less and is surrounded by chrome. Confirmation and more details will surely be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in February.

Why does it have to be button-less? I press those dam capacitive buttons accidently on my Nexus One way too often.

How do they know that it’s going to be a flagship phone for HTC? Sound like there is little data on it other than a crappy photograph.

Your guess is as good as mine on that one. Kinda funny the automatically assume it is going to be the new flagship model for HTC though.

Hey Colin, all it takes is to log into the internet and type in the followign phrase “HTC Desire HD”. If you can do that, you can find out all there is about this device.

agree with the above two comments. as well, I honestly don’t think this is a 4.3 inch screen. the screen looks smaller.

The operative word from the blog is “it looks like the HTC Desire HD”. That means that it isn’t the “HTC Desire HD”, so why would I do a search and look up the specs about the “HTC Desire HD” when the handset in question, only looks like the “HTC Desire HD”?

I’ve been using an HTC Touch for just about 3 years now. Aside from it having Windows, I really like the size, it fits easily into a pocket, into the change sub-pocket even. My concern with the HTC Desire HD is the huge screen size – I’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy which is the same size screen, and (obviously exaggerating), its almost like a tablet! The Desire I’ve seen at Telus is a good size, so if this “flagship” model is smaller than 4.3″, I’m all for it!
