Bell promotes Stephen Howe to become EVP and CTO of wireline and wireless network

Effective January 1st Bell’s wireline and wireless network will have a new leader. Not much of a change as J. Trevor Anderson is retiring after 39 years and taking on the reins is current SVP and CTO Stephen Howe – he will become Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

Howe was one of the executives that were responsible in building out their HSPA+ network. George Cope, President and CEO of Bell and BCE said “Stephen Howe is uniquely qualified to accelerate Bell’s communications network leadership position at a global level. With his extensive experience in building large-scale and high-quality digital networks, Stephen knows how to leverage the power of broadband to deliver the communications services that matter to customers”.
